we have started posting all of our digital pictures using picasa. i LOVE it. i dream of scanning in all of my pictures, from 5th grade until our recent house search, on this website.

i hate mass emails, but i also want to tell my friends and family the news. and i want to hear their news. sadly with this job, i don't have the time and energy required to tell everyone the news.

goodbye dimitri, hello lump

Sadly, Dimitri has died. It may have been stress related, but we can't know for sure. He stopped eating and drinking, and died of dehydration. By the time he looked like he needed to go to the vet, it was too late. Herpetologists say that chameleons are very hard to take care of, and now I see why. We'll miss you Dimitri!
On the brighter side, we have a new edition to our family - Lump! He's a baby ball python. He's 17" long and 3 months old now. Lump is very shy and a picky eater. I have to wiggle his food in front of him on a sort of tiny sled, in a shoebox, in the dark. A dead mouse sled, if you will. Anyway he's cute and I'll put up pics soon. Cuz I know you are totally dying to see pictures of my pet snake. Totally.

Then there's The Duel, Ambigram challenging cutiepie for the number one spot.
